Salary: 550 – 600k CNY per year net-based salary + bonus, housing, international insurance, flights, and allowances
Our Client
Our Client is a private multinational company. They offer a high level of competence in research development and production of mechatronic components for the automotive, motorcycles, appliance, HVAC, and energy industries.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Support R&D to identify best components solution in performances and price according to Purchasing guidelines and negotiation strategy (led by commodity managers). Have to challenge the organization on design to manufacture philosophy, enabling a stable process for serial production and a cost- effective method.
- Ensure that accurate RFQ’s are issued towards suppliers, defined purchasing processes followed, and strategies from Commodity Managers implemented.
- Support R&D/NPI for material procurement; Define the quantity, release orders follow up with material arrival till the warehouse of the designated plant, catalog distributors and manufacturers (eventually with commodity managers support).
- Assume responsibility for a successful product launch for new projects regarding budget, planning, scheduling, stakeholder satisfaction.
- Support regular cross-functional Product Launch Team meeting store view the program schedule and be the focal point for the Team on purchasing related topics driving the open issues and giving a constant update to Commodity Managers and PL, PM.
- Support supplier events to align expectations at all critical stages of the project.
- Demonstrate problem-solving capabilities on all program-related topics
- Attend R&D/NPI meetings with suppliers, updating commodity managers about actions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering is a plus
- Solid knowledge of Supply Chain and Procurement
- Experience in Electrical Vehicle charging stations will be a plus
- Problem-solving skills
- Proactive, taking ownership, managing time, consistently meeting deadlines, open-mindedness
- English language fluency and availability to travel are essential requirements
- Mandarin language is a plus but not required
