Salary: 10,000 SGD and above (depending on your work experience) + other benefits
Our Client
Our client is one of the world’s largest supply chain companies. Headquartered in Singapore, with operations spanning the entire value chain and covering 13 countries across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
Responsibilities
- Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media
- Proactively build and maintain a relationship with the national and regional media to drive coverage opportunities, including pitching press releases/interviews/op-eds to target media, organizing press conferences and briefings, facilitating media queries to ensure timely and quality response, and maintaining the journalist database.
- Create content for press releases, by-line articles, and keynote presentations
- Maintain awareness of reputational risks and threats by monitoring news coverage, social media mentions, and relevant issues and responding promptly to reputational risk crises.
- Perform as a media spokesperson on behalf of the company and address questions
- Assist corporate communications teams in Singapore and Indonesia with other tasks related to the teams.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate public relations results quarterly
Requirements
- Relevant university degree, preferably in journalism or communications.
- Indonesian with at least 5-8 years of experience in media, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in performing good leadership.
- Pleasant, creative, dynamic, and flexible personality.
- Self-driven, resourceful team player with strong commercial understanding and passion for challenges.
- Willingly to travel (especially to Medan, Indonesia). Able to start immediately is preferred.
Skills
- Proficient in Bahasa and English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Bahasa and English and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in bilingual copywriting and editing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong connection with media representatives.
- People-oriented.
- Team player with leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in the resources / agricultural sector would be an advantage.
